The MPAA is currently sending out about 2,000 DMCA take-down notices a week using an automated service from Ranger Online Inc. The rate of take-down notices has doubled since last year, and expected to increase.

Ranger Online says the automated program is almost never wrong because only three people have corresponded back challenging the notice.
