Alexander,
If the election cannot go ahead without a Charter Document, (I don't see
why), then the "fuzzy, expansionist, gigantic org with a blurry vision" is
exactly the right thing - the logic being that if you don't have time to
work out things out with precision, then it's better to leave it wide open,
so it can be narrowed later. But better still, let's restrict the election
documents to uncontroversial statements on the procedure of election.

I completely agree with both you and Jamie.
