You are better than this. I don't know anybody who doesn't appreciate the
work that you do, none of which makes the slightest difference to my taking
a clear cut position on an issue that is bigger than any one person.

At this time, I view the situation as a working group forum known as the
AtLarge organization, open to all who sign up. Consider it WG-Review
reincarnated if you like. Instead of treating this list as a GA style
debating club which may well conceive closed list Task forces as the best
way to do all the real work behind closed doors, instead I am treating this
list as the primary tool of a new open working group called
ICANNAtLarge.com. This is where the real work can get done in a forum open
to any individual to participate - more open, more transparent, more
inclusive and more accountable than ever before - not less. The only
requirement is that you join through the website, because (I repeat) we need
a RECORD of deliberations to substantiate any future claims we may wish make
on behalf of the At large community, as would be normal for policy developed
in a Working Group situation.

We all remember your crusade in the GA for open working groups, and you're
still doing all the work for them, even though they don't exist, so what's
stupid is disenfranchising yourself from the very process you fought so hard
to create, and losing your vote in the process, out of nothing more than
typing your name onto a list. You lost me on this one.
