Re: [atlarge-discuss] growing, organizing and growing

Ron [et al]:

It isn’t over till it’s over!... AND so far I’ve had 7 (of approximately 115) register, many of them even indicating modest $ pledges.

I personally certify the following ID’s of New Members (in chronological order):

Vincent, Warren. From East Liverpool, United States

* Schcherba-Borda, Mary M. From Henry, United States

* Maltby, Kathy. From Altamonte Springs, United States

* Hall, Jennifer. From California, United States
charlton, dan. From east liverpool, United States

panagos, george. From athens, Greece

* Lanier, Susan. From Henry, United States [was the 1000th and is my youngest sister]

I will have many more of that 115 after they all have time to read my E-message to them, and I am through “politicking” with them! :)

I have read at least one post to this list espousing the view that perhaps increasing membership over and above other activities is somehow putting the cart before the horse.

When it comes to me there are a few things folks need to keep in mind:

1. I have ADD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) [see http://207.36.60.225/ADD/Index.htm] That means I do everything at the same time, and the more things I have to do the better! :) When I carried a 16-credit hour load in college I did well; with a 12-credit hour load very poorly.

2. My ethnic roots are in Russia where they have this crazy thing called “troika” -- three horses pulling three different ways on one sleigh! Kind of crazy if you ask me. My other roots in Hungary, well, I’m one crazy dancing and tambourine pounding Gypsy!

I definitely live up to my roots! :)

3. When it doesn’t hurt other people, other than perhaps their feelings and sensitivities, I always but always do what I want! :) This is just another instance.

So, we're at 1001 members as of this writing. Who's out there working to get it even higher?! Consider yourselves challenged!

/s/ Joey

Tis true...

God didn't make Adam & Steve! God didn't make Adam & Eve either. Rathe-r-r-r, God made Adam from Eve, as modern science now plainly makes clear. Steve just naturally showed up, fashionably late (gay time being what it is) not too long thereafter. God just couldn't see letting go to waste all that material left over after he was finished making Adam from Eve. (-:
