Now this is a very good question Joop! How about and answer Danny?
Here it the relevant listing from the Website to which Joop rightly
refers:
ICANN at Large

Presented by Joanna Lane & Danny Younger
                             ICANN at Large

The Internet Corporation for the Assignment of
Names and Numbers,
ICANN, is governing the Domain Name System and
the internet protocol.
ICANN at Large's mission is to make sure that
"ICANN" is taking into account
what "ordinary" users of the Internet needs.
ICANN at Large is an attempt to
                             make sure that.

70 countries are represented in ICANN at Large.

========  End of copy ======

I also noticed that Joanna will also be presenting at this conference.
I hope she does well for our members.

So I guess that Danny and Joanna, although Danny is not a member,
put up the $99.00us registration fee from their own pocket. I wonder
if the organizers of this conference know that Danny is NOT a
member... ???
