Yes I had already noted that prior to my previous response.. But
thank you again for specifically pointing that out...

Sounds allot like some of Versigns activities of late doesn't it? Hence
in part my indirect comments...

Most were sent from the U.S. and one of them was from Verisign, which was duly slapped on the wrist by an American court.

This is one of the only reasons I use my own designed filters, Judyth.
I hate to use the dam things, but in some very extreme instances
they are handy, unfortunately.

Again part of my point in my previous post...

> ANY in Canada is too many for me but, as you can see, our system does work to bring the cheaters to justice eventually; if it could only move faster against those wretched telemarketers, we'd be even luckier!

Our system in the US works also. It is called the court system at work! >;)
However as I recall just recently you took exception to the US citizens
such as myself being too litigious. In part your right. But if you want to
protect yourself in just about any country I can think of, you would
be wise to have a attorney on retainer. I have two for instance...
Even my elderly parents have two attorneys on retainer. And both
my daughters have their own attorneys as well... Hence Judyth this is
in part why I believe this fledgling organization would also be wise
to retain it's own legal staff, and soon.

I am with you completely on the overzealous telemarketers though.
However I have a fix for them as well. There is a new hardware
device that you can buy ( I forget the name of it right now )
that I just installed on my home phone for a test that seems thus
far to work pretty well. Another protection from telemarketers is
to keep your home phone unlisted, which I have done for many years.
