Re: [atlarge-discuss] Re: [atlarge-panel] RE: (fwd) [atlarge-panel] draft motion on membership vote

Bruce and all,

E-Mail or web based voting mechanisms, it really doesn't
matter all that much if at all, it is the integrity of the mechanisms
that matters as much as the vote itself.. Once you understand
that clearly and precisely, than and only than, can a adequate
and useable process proceed..

This is not difficult to provide for however. But it seems that
some members are hooked on Joops Voting Booth or are
adamantly against it. And others wish to use a E-Mail based
system such as the DNSO GA had, which we all now know,
and some of us knew long ago was terribly flawed.

Still other members only want a system that is free or is
donated to use. Well I always say, you get what you pay for
usually. Pay nothing get nothing or get more problems than
you started out with...

Has any member besides myself done a survey on how and what
mechanisms that publicly held companies use for voting shares
of stock by stock holders? Perhaps that would be a very
useful exercise? I recommend doing so and soon..
