I have no intention of reading anything into anyone's actions.  But it is
the clear concensus of the membership we need to move forward and hold
elections.  Now.  Jefsey and myself are wholly committed to getting this
election going.  We'd like your assistance.  We'd particularly like access
to the e-mail list so we can effect this election.  If you were to make
available the voting system you promised, so we could be totally independent
from the DNSO-GA system we have been using in the past, that would be icing
on the cake.

I'd rather see us use a third-party system in lieu of the DNSO-GA's, but we
can (and will!) run it as a minimally automated system if necessary.  For
instance, my new virtual host has very generous limitations, and my system
stays up 24-7 anyway, so I could easily receive messages and forward them to
the watchdogs.  I'm sure Jefsey, with even more ambitious computer resources
available to him, can run and even more automated vote process.  (Hint to
Jefsey: if you have such capability and ideas on how to employ it, now is
the time to bring it up!).

On the certification side, we've already had one volunteer stand up to serve
as a watchdog -- Judyth Mermelstein -- before we even asked for watchdogs
(and we should accept her offer!), so I'm sure we can quickly garner three
or four more watchdogs from our membership.  So the only thing holding this
election back is the e-mail list, which at one time you agreed to hand over
to the panel members if the vote calling for the election passed.  It has
passed.  Please give us access to the list, so we can carry forth the
membership's will and hold these elections.
