[atlarge-discuss] Polling Commitee's vote requested

Dear Members,
I rose the question yesterday after Joop's mail. The acceptance date is over, however the people who have listed these nomination are not responsible. I therefore propose that we accept them (I will second these noinations as I did for the two nominations already made by Joop). I am ready to manually go through the list tonight and get their mail name (provided they are rgistered users I know) and to send them a candidacy letter if they were not already nominated on our regular list.

1. do you vote for that?
2. do you agree we delay the current voting schedule by one week to give them time to respond?

Our only legitimacy in runing these elections is that we have been elected to carry them in a democratic way as the servants and the trustees of this community. I will do as this Polling Committee will vote. I respond yes to both questions.

I know that Bruce is on the road. I do not send this mail to his business mail not to embarass him. But may be can he be informed by who may read in his @large e-mails?

I thank you all for your understanding. IMHO we must be flexible in the way we manage, but inflexible on democracy.
