[atlarge-discuss] Calms down in the tide and let us work looking for solutions

Dear colleagues, members and friends,

I have continued with attention the discussion and I believe that above the
arguments supporting an or another position (in all topic), the factor
"avalanche" that it was seen in the list and duplication of information has
been important factors. Some answers of acceptance and profiles have been
mislaid and the information of http://www.icannatlarge.org/voting.htm
doesn't coincide with the one that is in
http://www.icannatlarge.com/voting.html; for that reason I was happy when
today I received another e-mail of the Polling Committee announcing that it
was centralizing in http://execlub.org/atlarge.htm the information.

On the other hand the own nominations and seconded, they have caused
questions, myself doesn't even know who has seconded my nomination. As
example of inconsistency of the information, Ivonne Muñoz is not in the list
of .ORG and if it is in the list of the .COM, in my case is the other way
around.

I consider very important not to take the discussions at a personal level,
beyond being or not of agreement on a topic or other, it is primordial to
give solution to the problems.

@Large is too transcendent and it plays a very important paper in the
Internet like to dive in a glass with water.

I subscribe, in their majority, the comments of Abel.

In a moment it was commented and suggested not continue the election of the
Panel, at the moment I don't see a firm argument to sustain this
possibility.

It is also justice to recognize the effort that the Polling Committee has
carried out to arrive to good port. Although it can seem trivial, the time
that should be dedicated to these and other activities is not a little. It
is in us to put our grain of sand.

I coincide here with the opinion manifested by many members that the
democratic process of election should not suffer modifications that can
damage the organization. Many alternatives put on on the table, from now on
following steps should be firm, the transition of ICANN happens and
especially @Large, it cannot be eternal. But if we don't begin to make grow
concrete roots in to the organization, we will be blocked.

Estimados colegas, miembros y amigos,

He seguido con atención la discusión y creo que por encima de los argumentos
apoyando una u otra posición, el factor avalancha qeu se vió en la lista y
duplicación de información han sido factores importantes. Algunas respuestas
de aceptación y perfiles se han traspapelado y la información de
http://www.icannatlarge.org/voting.htm no coincide con la que está en
http://www.icannatlarge.com/voting.html; por eso celebré cuando hoy recibí
otro e-mail del Polling Committee anunciando que se estaba centralizando en
http://execlub.org/atlarge.htm la información.

Por otro lado las propias nominaciones y seconded, han ocasionado preguntas,
yo mismo no sé aun quien ha secundado mi nominación. Como ejemplo de
inconsistencia de la información, Ivonne Muñoz no está en la lista de  .ORG
y si está en la lista del .COM, en mi caso es al revés.

Considero muy importante no llevar las discusiones a un nivel personal, más
allá de estar o no de acuerdo sobre un tópico u otro, es primordial darle
solución a los problemas.

@Large es demasiado trascendente y juega un papel muy importante en la
Internet como para sumergirnos en un vaso con agua.

Suscribo, en su mayoría, los comentarios de Abel.

En un momento se comentó y sugirió no realizar la elección del Panel, por el
momento no veo un argumento firme para sostener esta posibilidad.

Es justicia también reconocer el esfuerzo que ha realizado el Polling
Committee para llegar a buen puerto. Aunque pueda parecer trivial, el tiempo
que se le debe destinar a estas y otras actividades no es poco. Está en
nosotros poner nuestro grano de arena.

Coincido con la opinión aquí manifestada por muchos miembros, que el proceso
democrático de elección no debe sufrir modificaciones que puedan dañar la
organización. Muchas alternativas se pusieron sobre la mesa, de aquí en
adelante siguientes pasos deben ser firmes, la transición por la que pasa
ICANN y en especial @Large, no puede ser eterna. Pero si no comenzamos por
hacer crecer raices concretas en al organización, estaremos atascados.
