I don't disagree.  But we need to be careful how we implement such a policy.
I would often be in violation of a *daily* limit, since I often read and
reply offline (as I am now!) and upload my replies from home.  Since I often
only have time to read and reply in spurts, they go out that way!  But a
weekly or monthly limit might be acceptable.  Of course, I would abide by
whatever choice the membership approves.
