RE: [atlarge-discuss] Moderated list

Before this discussion runs out of hand as so many let me please explain
the following:

There is not yet been a panel decision on a moderated list, however
there is discussion about it, the current proposal is a moderated list
open to all, with simple rules and a posting maximum.
The current list will remain in place, will not be disbandoned and will
be un-moderated.
So yes the system will be like the former GA list, one moderated, one
free for all.
Moderation rules will be clearly spelled out and it is the choice of the
poster to which lists he want to subscribe. As we are thinking now the
posts to the moderated list will be autoposted on the open list, just
not vice versa.

In other words, it all remains as it is, the new list would be under the
icannatlarge.org domain and nowhere else.

The moderated list is simply a supply and demand situation, in order not
to lose members, the traffic and noise level on this list has been out
of control for some time and it is not supporting our efforts but
holding us back if anything.

Kind regards

Abel
