[ICANN-EU] Election results - US President

All,

This post may not be directly related to ICANN and internet issues,
but will play heavily later on the future of ICANN and how the Internet
may change.

It seems the US presidential race has come down to 4 states.
If Al Gore wins Florida, he can win, If George Bush (GW, as we call him
down here in Texas, than AL Gore is finished.

Senate - Democrats pick up some seats in the Senate. Hillary Clinton
wins in New York. However GOP will still hold a very slim majority
in the Senate by one seat.

House of Representatives - Democrats again gain a few seats, but still
GOP holds a "Bare Bones" majority.

If George Bush wins the presidency, the ICANN may be in serious
trouble of surviving. If Al Gore wins, any new Internet legislation
faces
serious opposition form the GOP backlash.

Regards,
