I do not think that we can wait that long.  Waiting for Stuart Lynn may take longer than you anticipate.  Do not trust this person to do anything but line his own pockets at the expense of the US Government (us) and the rest that fund his golden parachute (us).  It might be more appropriate to act now, and act every time we can, to proclaim our right and heritage to globally manage the Internet as it should be.  We need votes, no matter how few, from China, Taiwan, Uganda, South Africa, Thailand, Malaysia, Canada, Mexico, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Wales, Germany, and everywhere else.  We need to display the convened agreement that our sentiment is wide spread, that the Internet is cherished as an open and needed democratic avenue of communication and commerce.  We should not, cannot, wait for our numbers to grow.  If we wait our numbers will not match our enthusiasm.  If we continue with our robust, blatantly aggressive demand to be heard our numbers will grow effortlessly.  !

 are global.  That will suffice, for now.  The number of users listening to us will eventually grow large as a result of our continued efforts.  Do not hesitate with resolve, resolve is time dependent.

Unfortunately no, not at this time.  With only 800+ members it would be
perceived as arrogance.  Lets stay our course, have our elections, gear up
our outreach, and wait for Mr. Lynn to retire!  :)  I don't know what the
magic number would be, but certianly if we namaged to garner 100,000+ users
in our ranks, I imagine we would be more effective then!
