[atlarge-discuss] Questions, but No Answers -- Another Sham Election?

Questions to the candidates have been posted by Alex Svensson, Joop 
Teernstra, and Jeff Williams.

There are already close to two dozen candidates that have accepted their 
nominations, but how many of these have bothered to supply any answers to the 
questions?

This is beginning to have all the hallmarks of a sham election.  At this rate 
all you will have is another popularity contest where voters look at the 
pretty pictures of the candidates and read their 350-word "statements"... no 
issues will be debated, no questions will be answered, and the general 
membership will be used as nothing more than a voting tool.  

Half of the nominees have never posted anything more than their acceptance 
letter to the discuss list... this is truly pathetic.  You should be 
embarrassed to have these folks running for a leadership position.  This 
whole election is rapidly becoming a farce.
