Re: [atlarge-discuss] No icannatlarge.com reps on ERC task force - More zero sum gaming

Vittorio and all stakeholders or other interested parties,

Yet Vittorio the ISOC regardless of chapter has not individual members
any longer. Hence is is more akin to a trade organization than
and organization that represents what the ISOC's very name
implies...

Yes. But why does it only or need to be a panel member of
ICANNATLARGE.COM to sit on this task force? Could it
also not be any ICANNATLARGE.COM member? Others
did volunteer you know...

The number of ICANNATLARGE.COM members in the in the
ALOC is fine but should not be all that important to our
ICANNATLARGE.COM members as we should be sufficiently
independent as we are supposed to be anyway.

Yes, and this was divisive IMHO...

Well this has been the mode of operation from Denise and Esther
as well for some time now. Were you surprised? I sure was not...

What ALOC list? Where is such a list? Is it archived?

Bad guess here I think Vittorio...

  Agreed.

This is really not the right way to ask what I think you are wanting
to know. Rather, if they take place in this task force they should
be willing to sign an affidavit, such as publicly held corps sometimes
have to do to serve on such a Task Force that temporarily recuses
them of any duties with their current affiliations... I have had to do
this many times for instance. And would do it again without
reservation...

I personally don't think any of the names you list here should be
serving on the task force unless you are elected to that task force
as the ICANNATLARGE.COM rep for such, or any other
task force...

Good point here. The likely reality is that no ICANNATLARGE.COM
member will be on any such ALOC task force anyway given the example
that you mentioned above of Denise's method of handling such a call
for such task force members...

You should understand by now, ICANN is predominantly a
zero sum game...
