I donīt think the proposal Version 3.0 is illguided. If we want an ALAC, 
it is a sensible proposal. The main problem is, do we think the proposed 
ALAC makes any sense ? I fear that even after the emendations of Hans 
Klein the ALAC is simply too weak, even as an advisory commitee, to 
achieve anything .
