Joop, IMO, the panel is in agreement that you should turn over the
passwords to whomever the elected panel designates, and that you should
not run the icannatlarge.com web site like it is your personal web site.
This was discussed on the panel list. I really don't know where you are
going with this. The panel will soon be replaced, and the new panel can
figure out how to get control of the icannatlarge.com web page, if you
insist on maintaining your present position on this, it will be dealt with
later, by the new panel.
There is no hidden agenda on the web page, other than the appropriatness
of having the panel have some control over the web site. There are big
differences of opinion among the panel members over lots of substantive
issues, but I sense none over this issue.
I have tried on several occassions to get you to make the archives of the
discuss and panel lists more easily accessiable from the web site, and
cannot understand why you have resisted. There is almost a random or
personal set of quotes, pictures and issues presented on the web, which
seem to be whatever you seem to think is interesting at the moment. This
may or may not be the best way to manage an organization site. IMO, it
is not. It would be better if the web master actually saw their
responsibility as carrying out the wishes of the elected panel, and not
making personal statements on issues, IMO. First on my list would be
better access to basic information about the group, including for example,
archives of the email lists, where debate takes place, and decisions are
made.
