Dear Jamie,

I have already largely made up my mind about who I will vote for and who 
will not get my vote. But before voting for James Love I have one more 
question:

I apologize that it may seem unduly pointed, but integrity is an important 
issue and there are a few things that need clearing up.

Let me go back to the Panel discussion of 31 May

You supported Sotiris to unilaterally change "icannmembers"  to 
"members"  by importing Sotiris' masthead for the website without dialog 
with the signed-up membership.
This was followed by  Sotiris' highly personal attack on the invoice for 
the website work done by imachination Ltd. and his bald proposal to make 
him the new webmaster.

Jamie, you said here on this list [Tue, 16 Jul 2002 10:55:43 -0400] that 
the interim Panel ("full support") was behind a proposal from Vittorio 
Bertola to have the keys to the website transferred to Vittorio and Sotiris 
about 2 weeks before the election.
This was at a time after Vittorio has expressed a preference for delayed 
elections and after Sotiris' request ["everybody O.K. with that?"] that the 
funding from InternetNZ be diverted to him personally.

I asked Vittorio the same question, but could you please point to the 
record of the vote and the quorum of 5 that would evidence support of the 
majority of the interim Panel for such a takeover?

If you can find it, I will apologize for what I am implying here.
