Re: [atlarge-discuss] full transparency

Joop,

If you read and understood the final message you quote where you wrote:

> Good news for the icannatlarge.
 > you show us how much better you can do.
 >
 > Please build a new site from scratch.

To which I responded:

"Tell you what, I'll do it for the $1000 USD that InternetNZ wishes to donate to
ICANNAtLarge.com. Everyone OK with that?"

You'd understand that I was simply responding to your challenge to build a new site
in an indignant tone. I was pissed off that you were ripping us off, plain and
simple. Anyone in this organization with even a minimum of web design experience
can take one look at your web site product and I am 100% certain that they would
agree that your USD$5300 price tag was simply incredible. I once thought that you
were an asset to any User's organization, I see now that you are a liability. You
were the cause of the IDNO's demise (and not William Walsh or anyone else), and now
you are a prime cause in the stagnation of this organization. Your refusal to give
the web site passwords to the Panel speaks volumes and completes the picture of
your control oriented participation for which you even expect to be handsomely
rewarded... Well Joop, as a current and possible future member of this
organization's Steering Panel I stand opposed to ANY further monies being paid to
you for the work you produced. We did not hire you. Go to Esther Dyson and ask
her to pay your bills. The monies donated by InternetNZ are for the organization
ICANNAtLarge.com to dispense with as is fitting for its needs.

In point of fact, just to prove a point, I am willing to create an entirely new web
site for ICANNAtLarge.com employing the Post-Nuke Content Management System, as
well as providing the web hosting - FREE OF CHARGE! But I will not do so if any
further monies are paid to you for the whacky fees you wish to levy on our
organization. IMO ICANNAtLarge.com DOES NOT OWE YOU A SINGLE RED CENT. I know you
probably had plans for the $1000 from InternetNZ you still appear to consider
earmarked for yourself, but I will do my best to ensure that you do not get it. I
suggest you drop the issue as it really looks pretty bad on you Mr. Teernstra.

Sincerely,

Sotiris Sotiropoulos
