[atlarge-discuss] full transparency

One of the candidates, Sotiris Sotiropoulos, instead of realizing that we 
should stand united in this hour,  is now accusing me of lying about his 
actions as elected interim Panel member.
I believe I spoke the truth.

All I can do is provide Sotiris' correspondence to this list and let the 
members judge for themselves. (there were no follow-up postings from other 
Panel members) .
I again urge the future Panel not to let any future Panel correspondence 
about icannatlarge's website be unarchived.

Joop, the site could not look any worse than it does now, I'm afraid.  The
design is poor in function and appearance, not to mention that your logo is
just frightful. I am actually appalled at what you're charging for such work.
If anything, I was trying to salvage the thing.

By my calculation on your figures as listed on
http://www.icannatlarge.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=77 your price amounts to 
roughly
$3700 USD.  BTW, perhaps you could show me which one of the fee schedules 
on the
referenced forum page is the correct one to calculate by... it's kind of
confusing.  Yet, even if it were $2750 USD, I'd have to say that is still 
way too
high a figure.  For half of that I would have set up an organized Content
Management System portal system via Post-Nuke with an integrated web forum, irc
chat, along with a range of catchy graphical design elements like banners, 
icons
etc., PLUS I would have had plenty of time to update what IMHO little 
update work
there has been, elections included.

HOWEVER, I am not going to argue with you over this any further.  My final 
comments
on this are simply that your fees are quite exorbitant.

As for an apology for the quotation marks, you have it;  I am sorry, but I 
don't
consider the final product worth the price.
