RE: [atlarge-discuss] correction

The website is the primary tool for communicating with an electorate that
largely does not have time to wade through the minutiae of a mailing list.
We need it, first and foremost, to be easy to navigate, to display current
activities of the organization, to foster outreach, provide searchable
archives, assist in policy development process, providing archives on a
topic by topic basis, as well as a full record of ExCom deliberations,
records of votes and so on, all in an open and transparent manner.

After the election, it will be on my list of priorities to press the Board
to prepare a design brief to put out to tender. If anybody wants to make a
start on that, please feel free.
