You know - I would agree except that I would also point out that using the @
sign to replace the word "at" in the name is a real difference in the old
name. Its also trade markable... still if it is not to have the @ sign in it
as the word AT then we need to probably come up with something totally new.

I must caution against the use of the @ sign in our name. There is a lot of software that reserves this sign and will interpret text around it as a email address.
Dear Joop,
I understand many things now I know you are a lawyer :-)

You know there are so many softwares doing just that, that this has become the reason why it is used in the mail addresses ...
unless it was because it meands "ad" (prononciation is wrong in English) that it was used to indicate an e-mail?

I so must warn you that this is the most commonly identifier of the Internet to the point that a lof a panels, signs, logos use that sign in trains, planes, ships, stations, gov buildings, schools, churches, stadium etc... to interpret it as an indication for an internet access and take the text around the address - specially when there is no dot) as an Internet business name :-) :-)

PS BTW did you evaluate the cost for an African @large member from Zaire to use the Forum vs e-mail when you know that in the capital city a minute costs $ 1 and $ 2 down in the country with an average daily salary of $ 1?
