  Thanks Chris for passing this along.  Very interesting reading.

  This announcement however, should come as little surprise
given recent and not so recent events with the interaction
of the NCC and the ICANN BoD and staff and the fact that
in July, Vint Cerf was giving a "Talk" at Salzburg.
