  I would and do agree that he "Should" have nominated either YJ or
Vivek if you look at this as a team player only method or way
of addressing his membership as  DNSO GA member vs
ICANNATLARGE.COM member.  If however, James,
with all due respect, Satyajit choose his preferred candidate
based on his conscience, or personal opinion, than as I previously
stated, he acted and nominated appropriately.

  I think here, and please correct me if I am off base James, that
you are looking at this strictly from a group loyalty point of view
as to whom some one should make such a decision.  Frankly I have
never espoused to such a notion.  I have voted on both sides of
the isle, so to speak in US national elections, and I am a registered
democrat.  Does that mean that I am no loyal?  Perhaps yes.
But such group loyalties do no supersede doing what your conscience
tells you you should do..

  He was elected as a panel member.  He is not a ICANNATLARGE.COM
officer yet as we have yet to elect such.

  I agree.  But teams in this context or of this type do not always
always endorse the same candidate.
