Good afternoon, Joanna:

    Since the problem does not appear to be widespread, and I know there are
other causes for duplicate e-mails than sender error, I have simply
discarded the second ballot.  In fact, I would not have mentioned it if I
had not received a message from a colleague in Long Island who had the same
experience.

    I was concerned that the original ballot, which I returned, was a draft
that I had misunderstood to be the real thing.

    Your explanation of what would happen if you received more than one
response per member, satisfies me completely.
