Re: [atlarge-discuss] I PROTEST - MY NAME HAS BEEN USED IN VAIN

I've never asked for your trust Michael. Thats why I'm so upset with it.
It's clear to me that in all this time not many have been paying attention
for all the alledged slobbering I may have used according to you. And
thats the point.

Not only have I predicted the demise of ICANN. Incidentally many
predictions made long before most of you got your first internet diapers.
I've built my reputation on facts. I did not need your love, I did not
ask your trust. As I have said repeatedly - I don't need it - I have
protocols on my side.

In fact the only position I have ever accepted in all this was for the
TapRoot committee of the TLDA. Thats the only position that I have ever
accepted. Why? Simple I trust the people who elected me. It does not
work the other way around with me. And for a group I have no idea about
to be so arrogant as to make assumptions like these is unacceptable. I
don't trust you people - I barely know you. The ones I know I like - but
they are in the minority. The rest I don't know.

The subject of trust has also been a big factor in my books. But not the
aspect of trusting me. I have always warned you people to keep your eyes
open and to be careful of whom you trust. Not many of you listened at the
time - I believe many of you trusted ester once. Well we all know where
we are on that one today.

I find many people in the icann malaise are much like children. Trying to
find a moma or popa to lead them out of the wilderness. I'm not that
person. Never have been. Don't plan to lead you anywhere. I've left the
icann malaise for greener pastures and if you peeople can figure out how
to do the same - congrats. If not find leaders who can and are willing
to do this for you. It's unacceptable to catapult people like myself into
a trust situation - i.e. this poll.

And if you people want to make a difference there is only one namespace
where your voices will make a difference. But I don't think many of you
are ready. I still get the impression this place is attempting to serve
the powers that be on icann. Waste of time. But you all have to go
through it.

It's a learning thing. Much like a virgin hiring a bad whore. You don't
know any better - your paying good money for a poor service. So one day
your regular whore is unavailable - you goto another and discover she's
much better then the former. And so you switch. Like I said a learning
experience. So far the only whore you guys and gals have know is ICANN.
I'm sure the virgins here will find another who can better serve their
needs to be heard.

cheers
joe baptista
