Re: [atlarge-discuss] Re: [atlarge-panel] New panel elections?

Richard and all,

I agree that the poll did show that the members are not happy with their
current Panel members. Of course as I have said several times before,
that was well known well before the poll was taken. Hence Richard is
quite right, that we need an election process to commence for new Panel
members to be elected. We need and election process/software by
which that election can be conducted honestly. Here is where
the rub is I believe. We currently do not have such an election
system/software implemented and do not even own our own server
or the Domain Name for this organization presently.

However as Judyth has pointed out these hurdles do not necessarily
impede our ability to hold and Emergency election in a fair and honest
manner. I welcome suggestions or potential donations from
third parties through our members other contacts that may be
able and willing to assist in donating such services temporarily
for this Emergency election.

I again warn all our members, we cannot continue to conduct
our business and the business of this fledgling organization in the
manner in which it has been to date. We need to provide for
the following ourselves:

1.) Control and management of our Domain Name, ICANNATLARGE.ORG

2.) Our own hosting or hired hosting for our Domain to include
any and all necessary software we deem appropriate.

3.) Funding and a funding model by which we can pay our own
     way...
