RE: [atlarge-discuss] election or disbanding
Vittorio,
Why do you keep on trying to justify what you have done, surely you must
be more intelligent then that!
They are the only ones (Bruce and Jefsey) with ANY right to the list,
they need that list to notify members, and whatsoever.
You are willingly sabotaging this organisation and it would be better if
you just did what you are by mandate obliged to do: hand over the list
and passwd to Bruce and Jef, instead of posting here again and again
trying to do more damage then you have already inflicted.
On the other hand I am pleased to see that you stand by your malicious
behaviour and are showing true colours which I hope will warn those that
work with you at the moment.
You obviously fail to see that your current behaviour wipes out any
chance of ALAC ever being taken serious if it ever had that chance to
begin with, If your behaviour is representative of that organisation,
which one must assume seeing you are their chair, then woe on all those
that have a vested interested besides the holiday in Rio.

In my opinion, there are two possibilities on this.
Either Bruce and Jefsey are still a valid panel, and in this case they
can take decisions on announcements, mandate, nominations, timings etc.
- and they don't need to have the membership list to do this.
Or they're not, and then some members should take the lead in discussing
these issues on the list, recognizing consensus, and consequently
setting up the elections. Of course this is currently not foreseen by
any rule, but if we have no Panel any more, we have no other way to
proceed, and if we don't act like this, no elections will ever happen.
Personally, both options are fine with me, as long as the resulting
elections are held fairly and promptly - though, given the situation,
I'd prefer the second one.
