FW: [atlarge-discuss] ICANN Staff's at-large website
Sorry Judyth,
This comes straight from the list, not any sort of off-list and is
extremely clear in it's content.
I Do really not see why you throw up yet other obstacles but assume you
have your own motives.
To add any legality to the Joop-poll is ridiculous, it bares no
significance upon this organistaion whatsoever.
For that he needs a mandate just as hard as anyone else.
That way the questions would be real questions and the watchdogs real
watch dogs and not friends.
Regards
Abel

I'll acknowledge the result, but am not willing to comment on his
motivation, not having lived in his head.

Again, the facts are true. But what his motivation is we may never no.
| Your support in organizing elections could be started with sending the

| they abuse that list in any form it will haunt them and not you like
| it does now.
Please! I promise to not abuse this list in any manner, and use it
solely for effecting the election. I am willing to do all the work
myself, if necessary, funneling election message traffic through my
domain mail server, and auto-forwarding the results to designated
watchdogs.
| As an ordinary member, I urge you once again to send the list to both
| collegue panellist that remain, who in turn without a shadow of a
| doubt will not abuse that list, and solely organize elections within a
| time frame that is reasonable.
Yes. I will affirm that. I'm sure Jefsey would as well.
| This could all be done in under 10 days if you hand handed the list
| over earlier, and can still be done in that time.
Well . . . My only problem with this is two-fold. First, we need to
hold a proper call for nominees, which means using the list to contact
all members and solicuiting same. We then need to post the candidates'
statements online for a period, so people know what the candidates stand
for. I'd also call for including a mandatory list of Internet-related
organizations in which the candidate is serving in a leadership role.
Secondly, I'm leaving on a one-week road trip on Mar 22nd, and won't be
back until Mar 28th. I won't have access to my e-mail account until I
return. I will be taking a laptop with me and will be in contact with
my work, so if things get *really* gnarly Jefsey and Judyth both know my
address there. But the company frowns on private use, so I'd just as
soon not give it out here.
| I would love to hear a real reason for abandoning the remainder of the
| panel by sending the list, of which the panel and not you is a
| custodion, to non panel-members, what you have given untill now is
| just plain nonsense and not backed up by anything.
So would I!
