I would second an extension of the "get to know your candidates" period to 
at least two weeks.
And even that is not enough to deal with 10  candidates answering questions 
simultaneously.

Most of us have only time in the weekend and have a huge backlog reading 
this list.

We are just seeing how an overflow of list activity makes participation for 
those who lack the time near impossible.
The mailing list does not scale and overflow to the Forum by volunteers 
writing summaries is now needed for slower participants.

Jefsey, Bruce, Eric, PLEASE WAIT WITH THE VOTING START UNTIL MOST OF THE 
CANDIDATES HAVE SPOKEN.

Then update the voting web page with links to the archives here.
I ask for two weeks.

The voters deserve to be able to judge their candidates on QandA.
