I am in favour of a Poll to determine this.

If it's what the membership prefers, when it assesses the fallout
retrospectively, then that's the will of the membership. In all things
(while stability must also be sought) let's not make the mistake of running
away from the democratic will of the members.

Clearly people will have different views on this. It's contentious. But the
members themselves are the sovereign authority of this organisation. So let
them decide - fine.

One thing is for sure, though, constitutionally. The panel does not have the
right or authority to remove other panelists who the members have elected.
Only the Membership can do that.
