Why don't we simply provide a poll that follows up on ALAC's 
pronouncements and let our members either endorse or dismiss them on a

our own pronouncements to ICANN...

... or both.  I flat-out like this.  It is exactly what we should be 
doing as an organization that has members with knowledge and opinions, 
but organizationally not much (yet) in the way of resources.

Having said so, I also have to acknowledge that it wouldn't be easy.  It 
would have to be managed.  By someone or (better) by some committee.  
Whoever does it won't have time to do other things.

I hesitate to volunteer for this, because I have a hard enough time just 
keeping up with this mailing list (as you know); and to do that other in 
addition?!

I would like to see your suggestion on the Panel's to-do short list.  :-)
