Dan,

The verification process was entirely voluntary on the part of the
candidates.  Since Mr. Ouedrago made absolutely NO EFFORT to contribute
or send anything in the way of identification, his score resulted from
that effort.

While I appreciate the work that you and your associates have
contributed, I 
must take issue with the thoroughness of your investigation.  For
example, you 
have provided a blank cell for Mr. Pierre Ouedraogo.

Pierre is a member of the ICANN President's Task Force on Simultaneous 
Language Translation 

The ICANN Board passed a resolution profusely thanking him for his
efforts in 
providing simultaneous English-French and French-English translation, 
supported by the Agence de la Francophonie at the ICANN meetings in
Accra.

Pierre is a member of the ccTLD Assistance Group.

He has been a featured speaker at the conference entitled "Internet: un
enjeu 
pour les pays du Sud" sponsored by Le Centre de Documentation
Tiers-Monde 
(CDTM) and by l'Observatoire des Usages de l'Internet (OUI), as well as
a speaker 
at the Libre Software Meeting, and has spoken at far more venues than is

worthwhile recording here.

Pierre participates on numerous discussion lists, many of which pertain
to 
African concerns, and all of this could have easily been determined by a
cursory 
Google search.

In the future, it might be wise to indicate the methodology by which you
seek 
to ascertain your results.  Your lack of proper research might well have
been 
responsible for the low vote received by Mr. Ouedraogo; a more detailed 
report could well have resulted in his election to the Panel.
