[atlarge-discuss] Verification Committee Methodologies

In view of the current panel proposal to have Joey Borda chair the 
Verification Committee, I would like to add to my last post the note that a "blank cell" 
was also provided for Thierry Amoussougbo.

Thierry Amoussougbo is from republic of Benin.  He is the national 
coordinator of Sustainable Development Networking Programme of Benin (SDNP-Benin), which 
is voting member of the Non-Commercial Constituency of the GNSO since 
february 2001. Thierry has participated actively in almost all ICANN meetings and is 
currently the elected representative for Africa (second term) on the AdCom of 
the NCUC.  Thierry is a contributor to the Kabissa Newsletter (which I highly 
recommend, by the way), and has been a panelist on the General Knowledge 
Partnership Conference speaking on Commercially Sustainable Business Networks in 
developing Countries.  He is a member of the Internet Society of Benin.

If "Blank Cells" are posted for participants that have long been known in 
ICANN circles, such as Pierre Ouedraogo and Thierry Amoussougbo, then I am 
reluctant to trust the scholarship and research of Joey Borda and his associates.
