I saw the same thing, some words of clarity though:

We have only recently received the passwd for the site, we have no real
clue as to who the host is for the site, so we have no contact number
I personally do not know if any of the current or old passwd holders
have made changes to the site or that the host has simply closed it
down.

All I know is that I have offered a dedicated server to also host the
site (as one of more mirrors) and that such a decision had not yet been
taken.

If anyone has a back-up of the site, please send it to me and I can
bring it up in mere minutes or at least most parts of it.

Due to the ongoing discussions I have not made a copy of the site
myself, not wanting to run ahead of things.

P.S. I can bring up a temporar page saying that we are missing the
content, but that I think looks just as silly
