A British man accused by Microsoft of spamming has told the BBC it is a case
of mistaken identity and he will fight to clear his name.

This case concerns me and I wish there were an effective user organization
that could do something for Simon Grainger, who, on the face of it, looks to
be a genuine case of mistaken identity, but he has limited resources to
defend his name.
Can we do anything? If so, what?
Why not to make a petition among @large. Someone did that not so long ago.
There was a specialized site. It worked well. This could also be good
advertizing for us if the press talked of @large from all over the world.
This could then be good for Granger as M$ would hesitate at "from all over
the world" (bigger than 10.000 from his home place). Take the lead, we will
follow. jfc
