RE: [atlarge-discuss] Comment from Panelist André Rebentisch
Well, I guess we've heard from the peanut gallery right before closing
time, as usual.... so Danny, is Sebastian your alter ego? Join the
'waste of time' effort and then you too can vote.... In the meantime,
stick with the positive comments and forget the criticism.... Like my
Momma says, first one to complain takes over the job....
Sincerely,
Jeff Holt

Subject: [atlarge-discuss] Comment from Panelist André Rebentisch
The Right Not to Vote:
"In general no one is obliged to participate if he or she was elected to
a
panel, a parliament ecc. Voting is a right not a duty.
However I believe we shouldn't discuss about voting procedures and
participation as up to now nothing was actually achieved by this panel
except
self-organisation. I am not interested in voting procedures and panel
rules. I am more
concerned about the objective of a panel.
However nothing substancial was reached up to now.
Expellation by doing nothing with much rumor! If there were issues
Sebastian
was intrested in he would participate. Nobody should obliged to
participate.
Discussions about rules and regulation are only anything worth if there
was
something that has to be regulated. Paranoia and control are only
needed if
there was power. Bureaucracy leads to inefficient structures. Look at
the
output of the panel. What have we archieved yet, what do we want to
archieve?
The latter I cannot answer. I guess Sebastian looks at it as I do: a
waste of
time."
