Amen.  And also consider High German or common; or formal Spanish or
familiar....  Stick to the standards government dialect in all cases
where such is possible.  Of course this means that for French we may
have to use Algerian, Moroccan or Cajun not to mention Quebecois,
lol....

Of course when we speak of translation we will choose of among the
variants
of oneself language, the more diffused or spoken. Anyway, the variations
of
the Spanish language, excepting the Catalan for example, it is perfectly
understood by all the people that speak Spanish or Castilian (Spain,
Chile,
Uruguay, etc., etc.)
In the English language the situation is similar, although of course
there
will be exceptions of variants that are more complicated.

To seek to look for the hair in the soup and to begin to discuss if we

the Spanish language of Chile or Argentina, or the English language of
USA
or that of England, is not productive and doesn't make sense.
