Microsoft Anti-Trust Settlement (fwd)

The public comment period, as proscribed under the Tunney Act,  for the
proposed settlement by the US Government and 9 states of the Microsoft
Anti-Trust case has begun.  The outcome of the case against Microsoft
will likely affect the must fundamental aspects of free speech and
communication over the internet for some time to come.

Microsoft has been convicted of abusing its monopoly power. A strong
turn out for the public comment period is critical to ensure that
Microsoft's anti-competitive behavior is curbed.

As computer and internet users we should take the opportunity to voice
our concerns over a case that directly affects all of us.  Now is your
chance to have a voice in the outcome.
