der ganz Bolkesteins PR-Konzept folgt (indem er einen
patentextremistischen Ansatz als Kompromiss verkauft) und die Kritik nicht
erwähnt, aber bei alledem interessanterweise den Autor der EUK-Richtlinie,
Francisco Mingorance von BSA, als Vertreter der Interessen von Microsoft
und IBM zitiert:

 Francisco Mingorance, director of the European public policy for the
 Business Software Alliance, an association representing such U.S. giants
 as International Business Machines Corp. and Microsoft Corp, said the
 proposal's authors "have taken a couple of steps backwards."

In Wirklichkeit hat die EU-Kommission den Entwurf von Mingorance
allerdings nur unwesentlich abgemildert.
