Etymology

The term "weblog" was coined by Jorn Barger in December 1997.

Ich glaube nicht, dass Weblogs nur die "Sau der Woche" bleiben werden.
Ich kann auch nicht nachvollziehen, warum man so ein Gewese um Weblogs
macht. Ob ich Informationen/Inhalte nun auf einer Website veröffentliche
oder in einem Weblog, ist doch egal. Die Existenz des Usenets ist keine
Begründung dafür, Weblogs ihre Berechtigung abzusprechen, umgekehrt kö
nnen Weblogs das Usenet nicht ersetzen. So what?
