General Information : 

A call for expressions of interest for the provision of services
involving assistance with the technical evaluation of proposals and
the annual review of projects within the context of the EU Action for
trans-European telecommunications networks (TEN-Telecom), published in
January 1997 (OJ No S 97 of 21.1.1997), is currently open and
accepting applications until the end of the year. 

The tasks required by the Commission involve technical assistance with
evaluating the proposals submitted in response to calls for proposals
within the TEN-Telecom Action. Technical assistance is also required
in the context of the annual review of specific TEN-Telecom projects.
The evaluators will be required to examine annual reports produced by
project participants and make recommendations with regard to
continuing the project, or modifying the work schedule as necessary. 

Remarks : 

Expressions of interest may be submitted until 31 December 1998. The
list compiled will remain valid until 31 December 1999.
