Open call for tenders

1. Awarding authority: The European Commission, Directorate-General

2. Category of service and description: This notice covers the domain
of the management consultant services and related services under
category No 11, CPC reference Nos 865, 866.

The objective is to award a contract for a study of certain aspects of
the laws, rules and procedures in the Member States of the European
Union relating to illegal content and other criminal activities that
use the Internet and other electronic communications systems and to
produce recommendations for specific measures which will make
enforcement of the law more effective, by ensuring that the law is
framed in a way which is appropriate and by enabling better
cross-border cooperation between law-enforcement authorities.

7. Time limit for completion of work: The duration will be 8 months.

facsimile or letter: Requests made by facsimile must be confirmed by
letter dispatched before the expiry of the time limit referred to in

Commission with a guarantee equal to the amount of any advance

submitted individually or jointly. If 2 or more applicants submit a
joint bid, 1 must be designated as the lead contractor and agent
responsible.

be required to provide economic and technical information for
appraisal purposes. These requirements will be specified in the
specifications.

15. Validity period: 12 months.
