The U.S. House Government Reform and Oversight Committee will soon
hold hearings on the project Echelon.
American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) letter has called upon members
of Congress to conduct further inquiries into the workings of this
global surveillance system. To read this letter, click here.

Two bills are pending in Congress which would require the Federal
