I think that I would like to see some *good* reasons for the introduction
of this domain as a ccTLD. Europe is not a country, is it? It is not in
the process of becoming a country. So?
I cannot understand that this, basically pseudo-ccTLD, has anything to do
with "global competition", as you state.
So maybe you, or some other(s) in favour of .eu can elaborate or explain?
