[icann-eu] Re: [ICANN-EU] ccTLDs to ask for BoD seats?
My understanding is the following:
This document has no other value than a proposition by Staff.
1. It is out-dated by the ccTLD constituency and the proposed standard
contract that constituency prepared which warranty ICANN revenues
over three years periods. That contract has obtain a ccTLD consensus.
2. The request for seats is not conflicting with @large as ccTLD are not
representing users but operators. A CCSO should share seats with
other SOs. The ccTLDs do not request a modification of the ICANN
but a better positioning in the SOs so they may be represented at the
board in proportion for the money they bring.
