Re: [ICANN-EU] request of reconsideration (fwd)



Dear Committee

I support the message below to the extent that I request ICANN to give an
explanation for reserving five seats on the board for a number of
candidates nominated by ICANN.

I do not, at this stage, agree with the message below to the extent that it
requires ICANN to change the election process. In my view the candiditates
put forward on the "reserved list" are of a high caliber and may be good
policy makers. 

Let's hear ICANN's reasons. I suggest that you post the reasons on your
website for consideration by all members.
