Wait! [Was Re: [ICANN-EU] the chicken-stairway]



Given the situation described somewhat sarcastically below, I would like
to suggest to all AtLarge members *not* to endorse anyone right now. It is
unclear (at least to me) whether you can change your endorsement. I would
think, not. In any case, you can only endorse one person.

It would be wise if many candidates would step down and advise to endorse
another person who is more likely to succeed. I will keep a close eye on
things and will state my position on my webpages for this election

I invite any other candidate to let me know (s)he is supportive of my
basic positions. I have tried to read up on the long list, but I have not
found anyone yet. I haven't had a chance (and neither will the voters, I
think) to read all the webpages candidates have put up to supplement the
ICANN page we all have.

I will be happy to step down if someone else will bear the banner of the
free users of a free internet. In my view this cannot be a person who is
working for an ISP, a Telco, for IP protection rights, to name the most
obvious.
