a) An election like this is better than no elections.
b) It can be done better and more democratic.
I don't wanna repeat all the things said before. As far as
I got the point nearly everybody would prefer more
democratic elections, e.g. that more then just 2
persons may come out of the self-nomination 
process.

Of course. The decisions made by ICANN will be important
for the developement of the whole internet, not only of
the "internet of big companies" or the "internet of the
universities".

> 3) Only 5 of 9 directors will elected in this election. When and how should the 4 
> remaining directors be elected?
The most important thing is, that things will run
well at ICANN. Maybe in a few months the
new directors will have enough experience to
do the job. Than the remaining directors should 
be elected as well.
